We offer a wide variety of seeds and provide a complete selection of crop protection products for all crops.
At Harms Seeds Ltd. we put our farmers first and will strive to continuously improve the competitiveness and profitability of all crops by focusing our work on four main areas: research, agronomy, market access and development, and communications. It is through investment in these key areas that Harms Seeds Ltd. can ensure wheat, barley, corn, sunflower and flax are sustainable production choices for our customers.
We farm land across the region, with crops ranging from corn, flax, peas, soybeans, wheat, barley, as well as sunflowers and canola. We maximize profitability on existing operations and add complementary investments that capture opportunity and decrease risk through diversification.
What cover crops are and how farmers are growing them and fitting them into their crop rotations. A cover crop is grown either after the harvest of the cash crop or as a full season crop intended to address problems with the soil, for example a field that is too wet to seed in the spring may be seeded to a cover crop to assist in drying out the soil to facilitate seeding in the following crop season. Mixed farmers can utilize the cover crop for end of season grazing as well.
